Dr. Kushwah, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Women's Biomedical Research Institute, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, United States. His research work focused on the Functional and Mechanistic significance of cervicovaginal microbiome (CVM) mediated epigenetic reprogramming in cervical dysplasia and related disorder under the mentorship of Dr. Michal A Elovitz. Atar Singh Kushwah completed a doctorate in Molecular and Human Genetics from Banaras Hindu University, India. After his Ph.D. joined the Center for NanoBiotechnology Research, at Alabama State University where focused on Immunosurveillance and Bio-therapeutics. Under the mentorship of Prof. Monisha Banerjee at the University of Lucknow, he studied pharmaco-epi-genetic analysis of DNA repair genes in cervical cancer, diabetes mellitus and GDM. He’s also studied extensive clinical follow-up studies and vaccinology at King George Medical University, Lucknow & Sanofi India, Hyderabad. He credited several awards including Uddeepan Award 2019-20 and 2020-21, ICMR SRF, Best Paper and Poster Presentation. I also associated with several international journals of repute as a peer reviewer and editorial board member.
