Emerging Markets Contribution to the Global Demand and Supply of Medical Care and Pharmaceuticals
Release date: 2023
Column Information
Emerging Markets led by the BRICS countries, remain the steadily growing driver of real GDP growth worldwide for decades.

Alongside this fact they do shape a global landscape of demand and supply of medical goods and pharmaceuticals.

There is an evident growing gap in income disparities and affordability of health care due to rising out of pocket spending among the ordinary citizens across the Global South's LMICs nations.

Such ever growing unmet needs in these vast regions require profound and comprehensive health economics evidence to create nation-tailored strategies to secure sustainable health financing and provision.
