Artificial intelligence (AI)-generated art has rapidly transitioned from experimental settings to mainstream cultural and communicative practices. Generative systems now produce visual, musical, literary, and multimodal works that challenge established assumptions regarding creativity, emotional expression, and authorship. While audiences increasingly engage emotionally with such works, international copyright law remains anchored in human authorship, creating legal uncertainty and cultural ambivalence. This article presents an interdisciplinary analysis of AI-generated art at the intersection of art theory, communication studies, emotional psychology, and international copyright law. Drawing on comparative legal frameworks and empirical research on audience perception, it demonstrates how existing legal regimes inadequately account for the emotional and communicative dimensions of algorithmic creativity. The study argues that sustainable governance requires coordinated international reforms that recognize human–AI co-creation while safeguarding cultural values, emotional trust, and artistic legitimacy in the algorithmic age.
