Recruitment: International Executive Editor

To further accelerate the internationalization process and elevate the global academic competitiveness of our journal, we are now inviting applications for the position of International Executive Editor. Working closely and collaboratively with the journal’s two incumbent Editors-in-Chief, the appointed International Executive Editor will take charge of global brand building and oversee the full-standard application, preparation, and implementation procedures for Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) database indexing, driving the journal’s high-quality international development.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead overall global journal marketing and international academic promotion strategies, continuously enhance the journal’s worldwide visibility, academic reputation and international influence, and expand high-quality global academic networks and scholar resources.
• Independently promote and advance the journal’s inclusion in Scopus and WoS core databases; proficiently grasp official inclusion standards, evaluation metrics and review mechanisms, optimize journal academic quality, publication standardization and citation indicators, and complete the whole process of database application, revision and final admission.
• Cooperate closely with the Editors-in-Chief to optimize the journal’s international editorial layout, expand the global editorial board and reviewer team, attract high-quality international manuscripts, and organize high-level international academic conferences, special topics and academic exchange activities.
• Oversee daily international editorial operational affairs, standardize international publishing procedures, and provide continuous professional support for the journal’s long-term standardized, stable and high-level international development.

Job Requirements

• Possess in-depth and systematic understanding of Scopus and WoS inclusion criteria, evaluation rules and international academic journal operational mechanisms.
• Own extensive global academic resources, outstanding cross-cultural communication capabilities, coordination skills and team management abilities.
• Demonstrate proficient English proficiency for international academic communication and manuscript publicity work.
Prior successful experience in assisting journals with Scopus or WoS database inclusion is highly preferred.
