The 36th Live Lecture of JCBP: Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management of Anxiety and Depression
The Journal of Clinical and Basic Psychosomatics will hold this live lecture titled "Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management of Anxiety and Depression" on Tencent Meeting platform at 20:00 on January 15, 2026 (GMT+08:00).
In today's fast-paced modern society, anxiety and depression, as the most prevalent mental health issues, not only profoundly affect individuals' emotions and quality of life but also pose ongoing challenges to social functioning and the public health system. This content aims to break through fragmented understanding, deeply integrate cutting-edge advancements with clinical practice, and systematically analyze the core aspects of the diagnosis, treatment, and management of anxiety and depression. It covers the entire process from early assessment, selection of pharmacological and psychological treatments, to long-term follow-up, relapse prevention, and the establishment of social support systems. It goes beyond the limitations of "one-time treatment" by elaborating on maintenance treatment after the acute phase, identifying early warning signs of relapse, the role of lifestyle adjustments, and how to construct a long-term support network that includes families, communities, and professional teams.
