Introduction
The rapid evolution of modern science, engineering, and technology has led to an increased reliance on complex dynamical systems to model real-world phenomena. From biological networks and epidemiological spread to smart grids and financial markets, these systems are characterized by nonlinear interactions, uncertainty, and high-dimensional dynamics. Traditional analytical methods are often insufficient to capture the intricate behaviors of such systems. Consequently, there is a critical need for the integration of advanced mathematical modeling, cutting-edge optimization techniques, and computational intelligence. This Special Issue seeks to explore the synergistic application of these advanced methodologies to analyze, control, and optimize complex dynamical systems, fostering new theoretical breakthroughs and practical solutions.
This Special Issue is developed in connection with the International Conference on Recent Advances in Mathematics and Emerging Applications (RAMEA 2026), holding on 24th October 2026 in SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tamil Nadu, India. It welcomes extended versions of conference contributions and independent submissions from the wider research community.
Aim & Scope
The primary aim of this Special Issue is to bring together researchers, mathematicians, engineers, and data scientists to share original, high-quality research and comprehensive review articles at the intersection of mathematical modeling, optimization, and computational intelligence.
The scope of this Special Issue encompasses both theoretical advancements and applied research. We invite contributions that propose novel mathematical frameworks, design efficient optimization and control algorithms, and leverage artificial intelligence to solve complex dynamical problems. By bridging the gap between abstract mathematical theories and real-world computational applications, this issue aims to highlight state-of-the-art strategies for the stability analysis, synchronization, optimal control, and predictive modeling of complex systems.
