The convergence of 3D bioprinting for tissue engineering with emerging technologies such as biosensors, bioelectronics, and artificial intelligence is at the forefront of biomedical innovation. This Special Issue aims to showcase cutting-edge research and development that harnesses the rapidly expanding capabilities of 3D bioprinting. We invite submissions that delve into novel biomaterials, advanced bioprinting methodologies, and the integration of enabling technologies across diverse areas of bioprinting. Manuscripts addressing critical challenges in 3D bioprinting-assisted drug delivery, regenerative medicine for clinical applications, and in vitro tissue modeling, including organ-on-a-chip systems, are particularly encouraged. By bringing together multidisciplinary research efforts, this Special Issue aspires to advance our understanding of the potential of 3D bioprinting technologies in shaping the future of biomedical technology and therapeutic interventions.
