The International Journal of Bioprinting (IJB) is pleased to welcome Shaochen Chen to its Editorial Board.

Prof. Chen is the Zable Endowed Chair Professor at University of California San Diego and a pioneer in 3D bioprinting and biomaterials. His research spans bioprinting, tissue engineering, organ-on-a-chip, and nanomanufacturing, with nearly 200 publications in leading journals.

A Fellow of National Academy of Inventors, American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, and American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Prof. Chen also co-founded Allegro 3D.

We are honored to have him join IJB and look forward to his contributions to advancing the field of bioprinting.
