Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The complexities of neurological and psychiatric disorders stem from an intricate web of causative factors, ranging from genetic to environmental and biochemical. Investigations into neuronal function, synaptic communication, genetic mutations, and their interactions with environmental factors are instrumental in decoding the manifestation of related symptoms. A profound comprehension of these fundamental processes is essential for conceiving enhanced therapeutic methods.

This special issue aims to collate cutting-edge research that sheds light on the cellular and molecular mechanisms driving neurological and psychiatric diseases. We believe that a greater understanding of these mechanisms is crucial for the advancement of drug development and therapeutic interventions.

We cordially invite authors and investigators in this field to submit their original research articles, reviews, and brief communications that contribute novel insights into the cellular and molecular aspects of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Molecular genetics of neurological and psychiatric disorders

Cellular signaling pathways implicated in disease.

Neurotransmitter systems and receptor function

Neuroinflammation and Immune System Interactions

Synaptic plasticity and its role in neuropsychiatric conditions

We look forward to receiving your original research articles and reviews.
