Currently, the new biopsychosocial medical model has become the mainstream concept of medicine worldwide. In general hospitals, a large number of patients experience significant pain and suffering from their illnesses, but no corresponding pathologies can be found, or known pathologies cannot explain their symptoms. Patients repeatedly seek medical treatment and undergo numerous tests, causing great pain and economic loss. Psychosomatic Medicine is a science that studies the relationship between psychological factors and human health and disease. It explores the interplay of biological, psychological, and even social factors in human health and illness, offering a method of understanding health and disease. The primary task of Psychosomatic Medicine is to treat patients with psychosomatic illnesses using methods that differ from the traditional biomedical model. The "dual-heart medicine" practiced in many general hospitals serves as a prime example. There will be a growing trend where clinicians increasingly need to master knowledge in psychology, psychiatry, and psychosomatic medicine, while psychiatrists will increasingly need to learn to collaborate with internal medicine physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
