Clinically, it manifests as a series of depressive symptoms accompanied by a range of physical symptoms and is one of the more common symptoms after a stroke. Previously, treatment methods for post-stroke depression included medication, psychotherapy, and non-drug therapies. Among them, medication primarily involved the use of antidepressants and anti-anxiety drugs.
