The JCBP's 1st Live Lecture of the Editorial Board: Neuromodulation Therapy for Psychosomatic Diseases: Decoding the Dialogue Between the Brain and the Body

The Journal of Clinical and Basic Psychosomatics will hold this live lecture titled "Neuromodulation Therapy for Psychosomatic Diseases: Decoding the Dialogue Between the Brain and the Body" on Bilibili and WeChat Channels at 20:00 on March 26, 2025 (GMT+08:00).
Psychosomatic diseases represent a silent dialogue between the brain and the body caused by an imbalance, which hides a deep disorder of the neural signaling system. Neuromodulation therapy provides a new solution to this medical puzzle by precisely intervening in the brain-body neural network. This lecture will focus on the following aspects: the definition and key characteristics of psychosomatic diseases, a scientific understanding of the central role of the nervous system in the mind-body interaction, the current clinical application status of mainstream neuromodulation techniques, and how neuromodulation techniques can achieve more precise intervention and improvement by addressing the root causes of symptoms when traditional treatment effects are limited.
We are honored to have invited Dr. Shen Li, Director of the Neuromodulation Diagnosis and Treatment Center at Tianjin Anding Hospital (Tianjin Mental Health Center), Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, and Editorial Board Member of JCBP, as the keynote speaker for this conference. Dr. Wenhao Jiang, who holds a Ph.D. in Neurology from Southeast University and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Georgia State University, serves as the sub-editor of JCBP and an associate researcher and master's supervisor in the Psychosomatic Medicine Department at Zhongda Hospital affiliated with Southeast University, will serve as the chair. We sincerely welcome scholars to participate actively in this live academic lecture.
