The Journal of Clinical and Basic Psychosomatics (JCBP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access English-language academic journal dedicated to clinical and basic research on psychosomatic diseases. It covers various topics, including symptoms, evaluation, treatment, disease management, and the underlying mechanisms of psychosomatic illnesses. The journal aims to provide a high-level platform for academic exchanges across all specialities and areas of psychosomatic medicine.

In the post-pandemic era, accompanied by a dramatic increase in social pressure, psychosomatic diseases have become a familiar and complex clinical challenge. According to incomplete statistics, psychosomatic illnesses account for approximately one-third of outpatient visits in general hospitals, and most patients with significant diseases seen in these settings have some degree of psychological issues. While technological advancements continue to be made in the field of psychosomatic research, there remains a gap between these achievements and effective clinical practice.

To address this, Professor Yonggui Yuan from Southeast University, has initiated a series of science-based live lectures focused on psychosomatic diseases. These lectures aim to promote research in this area, enhance understanding of psychosomatic medicine, and establish a platform for communication between experts, professors, clinicians from various specialities, and patients. By improving the diagnosis and treatment of various psychosomatic illnesses, the lectures also seek to refine the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation system for these diseases and drive the development of the psychosomatic medicine discipline.

We hope that through these live lectures delivered by leading experts and professors, clinicians on the front lines will be provided with better learning opportunities and a platform to acquire new knowledge. We warmly welcome your participation and look forward to the opportunity for you to make meaningful connections.
