The 17th Live Lecture of JCBP: TCM Theory and Clinical Thinking in Diagnosis and Treatment of Insomnia Disorder

The Journal of Clinical and Basic Psychosomatics will hold this live lecture titled "TCM Theory and Clinical Thinking in Diagnosis and Treatment of Insomnia Disorder" on Bilibili and WeChat Channels at 19:30 on December 26, 2024 (GMT+08:00).
About half of adults experience sleep disorders at some point in their lives, with approximately 1/3 having a course of illness lasting more than 1 year. For patients with poor sleep quality for at least 3 nights per week accompanied by subjective daytime impairment, the course of illness can persist for 2 to 6 years. More than half of patients with moderate to severe symptoms have a course of illness exceeding 2 years. In response to the current situation of this disease, this lecture hall will specifically analyze the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine theory and thinking.

And Professor Xu Jian, an expert who enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council, a leading talent in Shanghai, an academic and experienced successor of a famous traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, the former president and party secretary of Shanghai Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the director of the Institute of Sleep Disorders of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor at Shanghai Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, will serve as our speaker.
