The 27th Live Lecture of JCBP: Research Progress on the Correlation between Functional Dyspepsia and Depression

The Journal of Clinical and Basic Psychosomatics will hold this live lecture titled "Research Progress on the Correlation between Functional Dyspepsia and Depression" on Bilibili and WeChat Channels at 20:00 on May 8, 2025 (GMT+08:00).

Functional dyspepsia (FD) is associated with depression, and its possible mechanisms involve brain-gut axis dysfunction, HPA axis overactivation, 5-HT signal imbalance, and vagus nerve-mast cell inflammatory axis, etc. Depression scales such as PHQ-9, HAMD, HADS, and GDS can be used for assessment in clinical practice. Domestic and international guidelines recommend antidepressants for the treatment of FD. Additionally, there are low-FODMAP diets, cognitive behavioural therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, and electrical stimulation therapy.

We are honoured to invite Professor Fei Dai, chief physician, medical doctor, and doctoral advisor in the Department of Gastroenterology at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, as the speaker for this conference. Professor Jing Yu, the chief physician of the gastroenterology department at Henan Provincial People's Hospital, master's supervisor, and former director of the gastroenterology department at the East Hospital, will serve as the host. We sincerely welcome scholars to participate actively in this live academic lecture.
