3D bioprinting promotes the personalised medicine development, allowing a fast customization of biomedical devices, the implementation of innovative drugs and drug delivery systems, the restoration of damaged tissue functionalities.
These topics have been addressed and discussed during the 3rd International Conference on 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing-"Print the Future: Unleashing Innovation Through 3D Printing Excellence", held in Rome, Italy, on 14–15 November 2024.
Authors are invited to submit original research papers, perspectives and review papers, focused on various aspects of bioprinting, including but not limited to:
- Novel bioink and biomaterials formulationfor bioprinting
- Innovative bioprinting technologies, including inkjet, extrusion, laser-assisted, and magnetic field-based techniques
- Bioprintingof functional tissues
- Design and bioprinting of advanced and hierarchical scaffolds for tissue engineering
- Bioprinting for drug screening, disease modeling, and personalized medicine
- Bioprinting of biosensors
- Combination of bioprinting with other advanced techniques
- Clinical translation of bioprinting approaches
- Computational modeling of bioprinting processes using numerical and finite element methods
This Special Issue is aimed at providing a comprehensive overview of the challenges and breakthroughs in bioprinting.
