Abstract
This study evaluated the use of a collagen sponge soaked with recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor-BB for non-surgical treatment of intrabony defects in the esthetic zone. After 6 months of follow-up, this technique demonstrated positive outcomes, including reduced probing depth and improved attachment levels, indicative of periodontal regeneration. The notable improvement in clinical parameters indicates that this approach could be a viable non-surgical alternative with clinical outcomes comparable to current surgical procedures.
