The Dey lab is characterizing how the gut microbiota interfaces with the host to regulate physiology (e.g. gut motility) and pathophysiology (e.g. colorectal cancer), with an initial focus on how bile acids (and differential bacterial bile acid metabolism) mediate these effects.
epigenetic alterations based on DNA methylation and non-coding RNAs with clinical utility in cancer.
identification and clinical evaluation of new epigenetic biomarkers through the analysis of tumor samples and liquid biopsy to achieve precision oncology.
Dr. Marco Bregni specializes in Hematology and Oncology. He has been a post-doctoral fellow at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He has worked in stem cell transplantation in leading Italian institutions, and has contributed to advance the field in stem cell transplantation in solid tumors. He has been the Chairman of the Solid Tumor Working Party of the EBMT, and is the President of the Annual Meeting of the EBMT in 2014 in Milano. His interests are mainly in cell therapy and immunotherapy of solid tumors.

She has been engaged in pathological diagnosis for more than 20 years and has comprehensive and solid tumor pathological diagnosis skills, especially in the diagnosis of digestive tract tumors. He is mainly good at accurate diagnosis of digestive tract tumors and early colorectal cancer. He has presided over many research projects, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in pathology, familial hereditary colorectal cancer, colorectal cancer precancerous lesions, and early cancer.
