The "The 6th Annual Meeting of Society for Neuro-Oncology of China", hosted by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Chinese Medical Doctor Association Glioma Professional Committee, and undertaken by West China Hospital of Sichuan University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, and Beijing Tiantan Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, was grandly held in Chengdu, Sichuan from May 17 to 19, 2024.

This annual meeting is themed "Innovation-driven, transformation-led, a new era of glioma". More than 300 well-known international and domestic experts from China, the United States, Singapore, Japan, Canada and other countries were invited to gather in Chengdu to conduct in-depth exchanges and academic discussions on the progress of glioma diagnosis and treatment, research frontiers and achievement transformation. This conference set up 15 special venues, including keynote reports, new international academic progress, emerging venue, youth venue, basic and translational venue, molecular case venue, surgery venue, nursing venue, medical and engineering integration and clinical research venue, radiotherapy venue, comprehensive management venue, glioma case sharing venue, brain-computer interface progress venue and organoid research venue. More than 1,000 people attended the conference offline, making it the largest and most influential academic event on glioma in China in recent years.
