Brain & Heart is pleased to announce that 28 members of its Editorial Board have been recognized in the 2026 World's Top 2% Scientists list, compiled through a collaboration between Stanford University and Elsevier based on citation data from the Scopus database.
The World's Top 2% Scientists list evaluates researchers' scientific impact across a broad range of disciplines using two indicators: career-long impact and single-year impact. The assessment adopts the Science-Metrix classification system, covering 20 scientific fields and 174 subfields, and provides a comprehensive overview of researchers' scholarly influence over their careers and in a given year.
In the 2026 edition, 13 Brain & Heart Editorial Board members were included in the Career-long Impact list, while all 28 members were recognized in the Single-year Impact list. These achievements reflect the substantial scholarly contributions and international research influence of the journal's Editorial Board members across their respective fields.
As an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of brain and heart health, Brain & Heart values the expertise and academic leadership of its Editorial Board. The recognition of these scholars highlights the strength of the journal's editorial community and its commitment to fostering high-quality research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and scientific exchange in brain–heart medicine.
