As a branch of medical research, translational medicine has established a more direct link between basic research and clinical medicine. By quickly and effectively converting the results of basic medical research into theories, technologies, methods and drugs that can be applied in clinical practice, human health can be better promoted. Its main research contents include the identification and application of molecular markers, individualized treatment based on molecular typing, and the evaluation and prediction of disease treatment response and prognosis. In recent years, translational medicine has made breakthrough progress in clinical disease detection and new drug research of new biomarkers.
