Recruitment of Youth Editorial Board for Explora: Environment and Resource
Explora: Environment and Resource (EER) is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal dedicated to publishing and disseminating new research in society, development, and the environment. EER was founded in 2024 and obtained ISSN (3060-9046) on 30 October 2024. To expand EER’s global reach, enhance its scholarly impact, and foster the development of new editorial talent, we are excited to invite young researchers to join our Youth Editorial Board (YEB). This is a unique opportunity for early career scholars to engage with the journal, share their expertise and creativity, and contribute to its continued growth. We welcome exceptional young researchers to advance EER's development. Recruitment Criteria A solid academic background and outstanding research capabilities, with at least five publications as the first or corresponding author in reputable international journals within the past five years. Holding a Ph.D. or above. Strong interest in and profound understanding of neurology. Enthusiastic and proactive engagement in journal-related activities, with a commitment to improving the journal through constructive suggestions and strategies. Previous experience as an Editorial Board member or reviewer for international journals is preferred. Responsibilities Journal Promotion: Actively promote the journal at international academic conferences or other academic exchange events. Write promotional articles for newly published research and collaborate on promoting the journal across platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and WeChat. Participate in Peer Review: Provide thorough and constructive reviews for a minimum of three manuscripts annually to maintain the journal's high standards. Contribute High-Quality Manuscripts: Submit a high-quality research or review article to the journal during your tenure. Assist in Journal Development: Collaborate with the editorial team to plan Special Issues or cover cutting-edge topics aligned with the latest research trends. Prof. Darren Delai Sun Joined Explora: Environment and Resource [EER] as Editor-in-Chief
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Darren Delai Sun joined Explora: Environment and Resource as Editor-in-Chief. Prof. Sun is an Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. He obtained his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of New South Wales, Australia. He has research interests in the field of membrane water and wastewater treatment, water reclamation, and heavy metals stabilization, particularly in applying physical and chemical principles for fundamental research. Recently he is heavily engaged in the study of nano materials for water and energy production including hybrid membrane bioreactor, membrane coagulation system, and TiO2 based nano-structured/fiber/tube membrane.  Externally, Prof. Sun holds Shimizu Visiting Professor, Stanford University, USA, visiting professorship, Shandong University, PR China and and visiting Professor, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is an International Water Associate (IWA) Fellow, Chair for IWA Specialist Group on Chemical Industries, International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) Fellow. He was the recipient of many national and international awards such as IWA Innovation Award 2008, UK; Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award 2008 from Institute of Engineering Singapore; Nanyang Award for Innovation and Research 2009 by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore; President Award from President Akira Fujishima of Tokyo University of Science, March 2013, Japan; President Award, Institute of Chemical Engineering, UK 2019; Best Innovation and Enterprise Awards, Business Time and OCBC Bank, Singapore 2021. We warmly welcome Prof. Darren Delai Sun in his new role as Editor-in-Chief, and we look forward to his leading Explora: Environment and Resource to many more milestones.
