Column Information
There are profound and underlying correlations between the brain and left atrium, from the modulation of autonomous nerve system (especially the intrinsic ANS) to the stroke originated from the embolism from left atrium and consequent cognitive impairment due to the atrial fibrillation (AF) or even patent foramen ovale (PFO). This special issue is aimed to improve the clinicians’ cognition in this field.
