The inaugural issue was released. Advanced Neurology (AN) obtained the Electronic ISSN: 2810-9619, and was published as a quarterly journal.

2023
AN started to use the self-developed Online Submission System (OSS).
AN was indexed in CAS, Google Scholar, J-Gate, Crossref, Scilit, Dimensions, and Lens.
AN was included in the List of Journals Following the ICMJE Recommendations.

2024
All published articles was preserved in Portico permanently.
AN obtained the Print ISSN: 3060-8589.
AN was accepted for inclusion in Scopus (Elsevier).
Jiangsu Stroke Association became the academic support organization of AN.

2025
AN was officially indexed in Scopus, starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1), with a CiteScore Tracker 2024 of 0.8.
