Occurrence ofNatural Hazards and Outbreakof Epidemic: A Statistical Serutiny
Present paper delves the impact of natural hazards upon outbreak of epidemics in India. A statisticalmethodology is adopted to correlate the occurrence of natural hazards with the outbreak of epidemic. Theexperimentation setup consists of correlation and regression analysis and random walk approach. After a rigorousstudy, flood is identified as the most responsible natural hazard for the outbreak of epidemic.
