From August 2 to 4, 2024, the 2024 China Food, Drug, Equipment, Innovation and Health Science Expo, along with the First Western Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Medical Development Forum and the International Digital Medical High-Quality Development Conference, was successfully held in Chongqing.

Themed "Innovation-Driven, Healthy Future," the conference aimed to accelerate the development of high-quality productivity and foster the advancement of digital medicine. It brought together experts and scholars from diverse fields, including medicine, scientific research, and industry, to discuss cutting-edge topics and future trends. Key discussions focused on the digital transformation of the global pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries, innovation and integration in digital medical technology, intelligent service model advancements, and policy support and regulation for digital medicine. Participants shared the latest research outcomes, stimulated innovation, and promoted industry development.

The event was chaired by Mingzhu Yin, Chairman of the Digital Medical Committee of the China Food and Drug Enterprise Quality and Safety Promotion Association and Vice President of the Three Gorges Hospital affiliated with Chongqing University.
