Special Issue Information

Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Researchers,

On behalf of the editorial team of Tumor Discovery, it is our distinct pleasure to announce the inception of a special issue dedicated to "Advanced Interdisciplinary Approaches to Cancer Diagnosis, Treatment, and Management " This special issue holds a special significance as it is intricately linked to the upcoming TISE CON 2025: International Conference on "Trends and Innovations in Science and Engineering: Bridging the Industry-Academia Interface" a premier gathering of minds in the field of biotechnology, bioinformatics, food technology, biomedical engineering & data scientists scheduled to take place from February 20-22, 2025 at the Integral University, Lucknow, India.

Cancer management represents a unique convergence of multiple technological domains, where modern scientific approaches intersect to create innovative therapeutic solutions. This special issue highlights the integration of diverse scientific domains including food technology (bioactive compounds, nutraceuticals), blue biotechnology (marine-derived anticancer agents), yellow biotechnology (insect-derived therapeutic proteins), bioinformatics (genomic data analysis, protein modeling), machine learning (diagnostic algorithms, treatment response prediction), and biomedical engineering (drug delivery systems, diagnostic devices). The synergy of these approaches has led to significant advances in cancer care - from identifying novel marine peptides with anticancer properties to developing AI-powered imaging diagnostics, and from designing targeted nano-delivery systems to creating personalized nutrition protocols. This issue presents cutting-edge research demonstrating how the convergence of these technologies is revolutionizing cancer diagnosis, treatment strategies, and patient management protocols, offering new hope for improved therapeutic outcomes.

Authors are encouraged to submit original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and thought-provoking perspectives that highlight significant breakthroughs, cutting-edge technologies, and transformative strategies that have the potential to revolutionize cancer treatment and management.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation for your dedication and invaluable contributions to advancing the field of cancer research.

Warmest regards,

Prof. Salman Akhtar
