The inaugural issue was released. Tumor Discovery obtained the Electronic ISSN: 2810-9775 and was published as a quarterly journal.

2023
TD started to use the self-developed Online Submission System (OSS).
TD was indexed in Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), Google Scholar, J-Gate, Crossref, Scilit, Dimensions, and Lens, starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1)
TD was included in the List of Journals Following the ICMJE Recommendations.

2024
All published articles were preserved in Portico permanently.
TD obtained the Print ISSN: 3060-8597.
