Journal of Autonomous Systems Modelling and Computation (JASMC) is an international, peer-reviewed journal devoted to the mathematical modelling and computational study of autonomous systems. The journal centres on modelling and computation, and its core concern is how rigorous models are formulated, analysed, and computed to capture, explain, and predict the dynamics, evolution, and behaviour of systems that operate autonomously.

JASMC welcomes contributions in which the principal scientific value lies in the mathematical modelling of autonomous behaviour or in the computational realization, simulation, and analysis of such models. The journal's interest spans the full path from formulation and mathematical analysis through to numerical implementation, simulation, and validation in realistic settings.

The journal welcomes original research and review articles in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Mathematical modelling: dynamical systems; ordinary, partial, delay, and stochastic differential equations; difference equations; and hybrid, discrete-event, agent-based, and network models of autonomous systems
  • Computation and simulation: numerical methods, scientific computing, real-time and embedded computation, and large-scale or high-performance simulation of autonomous-system models
  • Data-driven computation: the integration of data, learning, and physics-based models in the service of modelling and computing autonomous operation
  • Applied mathematics: the mathematical foundations underpinning the modelling, analysis, and computation of autonomous behaviour
  • Applications in several fields: mathematically grounded and computationally validated models of autonomous operation in engineering, energy, transportation, mechanics, operational research, biological, environmental, and infrastructure systems

By bringing together applied mathematics and computation around the single theme of autonomy, JASMC offers a focused venue for the foundations, analysis, and simulation of autonomous behaviour.
