Advanced SmartHealth is an open-access journal published by AccScience Publishing. All articles published in Advanced SmartHealth are freely accessible on the journal website. To ensure free public access to published content and maintain high standards of publishing quality, Article Processing Charges (APCs) are applied to all manuscripts accepted for publication after peer review. APCs cover the costs associated with manuscript processing, including peer review management, copy-editing, typesetting, online publication, content hosting, digital archiving, and related publishing services. Article types that do not require peer review, such as letters, editorials, corrigenda, and addenda, are published free of charge. In Advanced SmartHealth, submission withdrawal refers to the removal of a newly submitted manuscript, a manuscript under peer review, an accepted manuscript, or an Article in Press from the online submission system. If authors request to withdraw a submission without valid justification or for reasons not compliant with publishing ethics (see unethical and unreasonable reasons listed at: https://accscience.com/information/apc), a submission withdrawal fee equivalent to 30% of the prevailing APC will be charged to cover administrative and processing costs incurred. Withdrawal is also permitted for accepted manuscripts that have not yet been formally published, including newly accepted papers and Articles in Press. Authors should note that any APCs already paid will not be refunded if an accepted manuscript or Article in Press is withdrawn due to academic misconduct or violations of research and publication ethics.
