Journal of Energy and Sustainability (JES) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing and disseminating high-quality research in energy and sustainability. 

To further enhance the journal’s global reach, academic impact, and editorial vitality, we are pleased to announce the recruitment of members for the Youth Editorial Board. We warmly invite outstanding early-career researchers with strong academic potential and enthusiasm for scholarly publishing to join us and contribute to the continued advancement of JES.

Recruitment Criteria

1. A solid academic background and outstanding research capabilities, with at least three publications as the first or corresponding author in reputable international journals within the past three years.
2. Holding a Ph.D. or above.
3. Strong interest in and profound understanding of related field such as energy, environment, batteries, chemical engineering, materials, and sustainable development.
4. Enthusiastic and proactive engagement in journal-related activities, with a commitment to improving the journal through constructive suggestions and strategies.
5. Previous experience as an Editorial Board member or reviewer for international journals is preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Actively participate in manuscript review, providing fair, rigorous, and constructive feedback.

2. Assist the editor-in-chief in planning Special Issues and contributing ideas for key topics of the journal.

3. Actively promote the journal, recommend high-quality manuscripts, and enhance the journal's visibility within the academic community.

4. Attend meetings with young editorial board members and offer suggestions for the journal's development.
