Special Issue Information

This special issue focuses on low-carbon architecture and sustainable design. Low-carbon architecture is a necessary requirement for carbon peak and carbon neutrality in China. Theories, methods, indicators, and cases of low-carbon architecture will be explored in depth. Comparisons between foreign and domestic low-carbon architecture will be investigated in detail. Moreover, this special issue will pay particular attention to sustainable design related low-carbon architecture, especially in the field of urban micro-renewals. As such, theories and practices of sustainable design in achieving low-carbon architecture will be summarized and promoted. More general studies on sustainable design are also welcome.
