Hydrochemistry in Meromictic Lake Zige Tangco, Central Tibetan Plateau
Lake Zige Tangco was discovered as a meromictic saline endorheic lake in central Tibetan Plateau. Its hydrochemical characteristics of water had been investigated in the summers of 1998, 1999 and 2002. The future hydrochemistry of lake water will possibly evolve into a more depleting Ca 2+ , Mg 2+ with concentrated Na + -CO 3 - - SO 4 2- -Cl - , that is to say, the lake could become a more typical salt lake.
