Abstract

The world is not going through a smooth phase now what with war clouds over middle east and ongoing conflict in Ukraine. No safe place to travel in addition to extreme air pollution scene over north India and even in far away coastal city Mumbai. Apart from these disturbing happenings, COP 28 will be held to address climate related questions ongoing for many years now without concrete implementable plan of action by all nations. Already globe is expected to reach the target of global mean temperature a few decades earlier than expected, may be even as soon as 2030-2050. Not a good sign for the emerging population.
It is surprising two distant locations - Iceland and Japan have become active for volcano - Earth still wants some action and will not call it a day till it is satisfied with man’s ability to limit anthrobased causes for climate change.
In the middle east conflict there is a meeting ground for politics, economics, climate disaster and human suffering - not a comfortable combo of things to hear or see; hope better sense will prevail.

Happy reading!
